Terms & Policies

By accessing and using this website (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Policies. Please read them carefully before subscribing or using the Platform.

1. Service Description

  • This Platform is an online directory where clients can browse hairstyle images submitted by salons and contact the stylist who created them.

  • We provide advertising and visibility only. We are not a salon and do not provide hairdressing services directly.

  • Salons subscribe for their photos and contact details to be displayed on the Platform.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.

  • Fees are non-refundable, including if the salon cancels before the end of a billing cycle.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • By subscribing, you agree to recurring payments until cancellation.

  • Prices may change in future. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of changes.

 

3. Content Provided by Salons

  • Salons are responsible for the accuracy and ownership of all photos, descriptions, and information they submit.

  • By uploading content, salons confirm they own or have rights to use those images.

  • Submitting stock photos, misleading images, or content from other stylists is prohibited.

  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules without refund.

4. Client Leads & Results

  • We advertise the Platform to attract client traffic, but we make no guarantee of a specific number of clients, leads, or bookings.

  • Results will vary depending on location, demand, competition, and salon content quality.

  • Reports (such as clicks or inquiries) may be provided, but are not guaranteed.

 

5. Client Expectations

  • Not every hair colour, style or service is achievable for every client, as results depend on hair type, condition, and colour history etc.

  • Hair Grid is not responsible if a particular hair service cannot be replicated.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Salons may cancel anytime, but service remains active until the end of the paid month.

  • No partial refunds will be issued.

  • If a salon breaches these Terms, we may suspend or cancel their subscription immediately with no refund.

 

7. Liability & Disputes

  • We are not responsible for the outcome of services between clients and salons.

  • Any disputes between clients and salons must be handled directly between those parties.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to any salon is limited to the subscription fee paid for the current month.

8. Advertising & Marketing

  • Subscription revenue may be used to run advertising campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc.) designed to drive traffic to the Platform.

  • Advertising is pooled and not allocated per individual salon.

  • By subscribing, salons agree that results are shared and may vary between areas.

9. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting privacy in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

  • We collect contact details, salon information, photos, and usage data.

  • This data is used to display salon profiles, process payments, and improve the Platform.

  • We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the Platform (payment processors, hosting providers, analytics).

  • We do not sell personal data.

  • Salons and clients may request correction of their data at any time by contacting us at hello@hairgrid.com.au

10. Prohibited Use

By using the Platform, salons agree not to:

  • Upload false, misleading, offensive, or unlawful content.

  • Use another salon’s work.

  • Attempt to manipulate or interfere with the Platform.

Violations may result in immediate removal without refund.

​

11. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform, its design, and marketing materials are owned by Hair Grid.

  • Salons retain copyright to their own submitted images but grant us a license to use them for displaying, advertising, and promoting the Platform (including, but not limited to, Facebook, instagram, Google, email campaigns, and other marketing channels).

12. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate a salon’s subscription if they breach these Terms.

  • Termination does not entitle the salon to a refund.

13. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms & Policies at any time.

  • Updated versions will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Platform = acceptance of changes.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

  • Any disputes will be handled under WA jurisdiction.
